Sales volume of SAIC boosts about 90% in first 11 months, 7 new models to be launched

Shanghai December 5^th, 2016 Gasgoo.com Data shows the monthly sales volume of Roewe RX5 has exceeded 20,000 units for consecutive two months, helping SAIC self-independent brands’ sales volume reach a historical high record. Official data shows that Roewe and MG brands have total sales volume of about 275,000 units from January to November, completing annual target ahead of time and increasing more than 87%. In its future plan, 7 new models under Roewe and MG brands will be launched into market.

More and more self-independent high-quality SUV models are launched since this year. Roewe RX5, which was officially launched this July, is making sales records continuously and achieves monthly sales larger than 20,000 units in the past two months. Data shows that more than 70% of Roewe total sales are OS cars, which sets a good example for other self-independent brands. Consumers are gradually accepting Internet cars.

Brought by new products such as Roewe, SAIC passenger vehicles start a new growth point, selling about 275,000 units from January to November. It’s predicted that SAIC passenger vehicles will achieve a total sales volume of 300,000 units, with the operation of Nanjing Factory and spring festival rush.

SAIC officially launched the new A+ class car i6, its PHEV version ei6, and MG new small-size SUV MG ZS on the Guangzhou Auto Show. According to plan, Roewe i6, MG ZS PHEV version and BEV version will also be launched into market afterwards, meeting most consumers’ demands in alternative energy vehicle field.
