Geely's November sales double on demand for new models

Geely Automobile Holdings' sales surged 99 percent year on year to 102,422 vehicles last month, thanks to robust demand for four models introduced this year.
The company said it was the first time that monthly sales have exceeded 100,000 vehicles.
The new models generated roughly half of Geely's November deliveries.
Geely delivered 18,402 Boyue crossovers and 10,078 Emgrand GS crossovers. The company also sold 10,942 Vision crossovers and 10,010 Emgrand GL compact sedans.
Through November, Geely delivered 657,621 vehicles, a jump of 44 percent from the same period last year. 
This year, the private Chinese carmaker has set a sales goal of 700,000 vehicles, up from 509,863 vehicles in 2015.
In October, the company unveiled its global Lynk & CO brand. It plans to launch sales of the first Lynk-badged model, a crossover, in China late next year with sales to follow in 2018 in first Europe and then the United States.
Geely, headquartered in the east China city of Hangzhou, is listed in Hong Kong. Its parent, Zhejiang Geely Holding Group Co., owns Volvo Car Corp.
