Chery Sales boosts 40% in Nov ,Tiggo7 Sales top 10,000 Easily

Shanghai, 2016.12.9, Gasgoo Chery has launched a number of new products this year, which contributes a lot to the overall sales. IIA hears from Chery official that Chery (Group) maintains rapid growth in November, with sales up to 86,757, a year-on-year increase of 41.7%, and an increase of 13.6% compared with October. Among them, Chery shares November sales amounted to 71101 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 39.4%, and a month-on-month growth of 19.1%; Chery holdings sales added up to 15656 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 53%.

The three brands under Chery Group, Chery, Qoros, and Jaguar Land Rover, continue to maintain strong growth. Among them, Chery brand sales add up to 61,540 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 40%, and a month-on-month increase of 21.2%; Qoros brand sales amount to 2,733 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 90.9%, and a month-on-month increase of 4.7%; Jaguar Land Rover sales reach 6,828 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 21.6%, and a month-on-month increase of 8%.

As for specific models, sales of Chery’s three models broke 10,000 in November. Arrizo 5 sales reached 16,973 vehicles with a stable trend to increase still. It only took 253 days for Arrizo sales to reach 100,000 since it was launched, fully demonstrating the strength of products of Chery's 2.0. era.

Among the SUV models, Tiggo 7, as a new model of 2.0 era, sales break 10,000 vehicles for the first time, up to 10,777 vehicles, a month-on-month increase of 51%(7,138 vehicles in October).

New Tiggo 3 sales reach 14,329 vehicles, a month-on-month increase of 10.9%, and a year-on-year increase of 2.3%. New Tiggo 3, as a classic SUV model of the Chery family, obtains enduring vitality and earns a good reputation through continuous upgrading and evolution.
