Sales of 69 automakers in Nov.——Japanese and Korean cars performed well

Gasgoo has worked out the sales ranking of passenger car wholesales of November according to CPCA’s data. Vehicle sales in November remained the good trend of the past two months. Wholesale volume of passenger cars reached 2,545,965 units last month, a year-on-year increase of 19.7% and a month-on-month increase of 10.3%. During the past 11 months this year, there were 21,085,641 units cars sold in China, a year-on-year increase of 18%.

Except for FAW-Volkswagen, SGMW and Changan Ford, ranks of the top 10 automakers in October all changed in November. SGM, SAIC-Volkswagen and FAW-Volkswagen, the top 3 automakers this month, all gained different degrees of growth which were 8.7%, 7.8% and 12.8% respectively, while the growing rate decreased when compared with that of October. However, there were still eight automakers achieved two digital growing rate in November among the top 10 automakers.

Among the 40 automakers counted by Gasgoo, there were 26 automakers achieved year-on-year increase, 10 automakers had their sales decreased and 4 with no data. The Great Wall, Changan and Geely, three self-owned brands, remained top 10 in November. Geely dropped from NO.7 of October to NO.9 this month, while its growing rate reached 87.2%, being an automaker with the fastest growing rate. Changan had 8 of its car brands sold over ten thousand with balanced development of its sedans, SUVs and MPVs. While the Great Wall reached a new high with its SUVs hot in November, increased by 48.9% year on year and ranked from NO.8 to NO.7.

Besides self-owned brands, Japanese and Korean cars also performed well in November. In October, only Dongfeng Nissan ranked in top 10 and many automakers gained negative growth. But situation of November is different from that, with 9 automakers gained year-on-year growth of different degrees except for Changhe Suzuki and Zhengzhou Nissan. Sales of GMMC broke ten thousand in November, a surge of 98.3%. As for Korean brands, sales of Beijing Hyndai in November was 127,008, an increase of 15.4% year on year and 41% month on month. It also ranked from NO.9 of October to NO.6 in November. While Dongfeng yueda Kia ranked NO.11, with sales promoted by 13.5%.

Other automakers performed similarly with October. Among the 7 German brands, sales of 5 of them increased, one of them decreased and another one has no data; the 4 American brands all achieved growth; in French brands, sales of CAPSA and Citroen declined and Dongfeng Renault has no data.
