GM confirms it will show second-generation Chevy Traverse at Detroit show
DETROIT -- General Motors today confirmed plans to unveil the second-generation Chevrolet Traverse at the Detroit auto show next month.
The automaker released a teaser photo showing the silhouette of the 2018 Traverse, which is scheduled to be revealed Jan. 9. The profile appears to resemble a larger version of the 2018 Chevy Equinox, which will go on sale early next year.
It will be the first redesign for Chevy’s biggest crossover since its 2008 launch.
GM gave few details about the redesign, except that it will have best-in-class third-row legroom and cargo space and a number of new technologies, including “D-Optic” headlamps that provide a “natural daylight effect.”
GM also is expected to debut a redesigned GMC Terrain at the Detroit show.
