Trumpchi GS8 4WD version will be launched in April with a starting price of RMB 199,800

Gasgoo.com (Shanghai February 28th, 2017) – GAC Trumpchi continues to improve its product layout in high-end market after the launching of GA8 and SUV GS8. It’s known that GS8 4WD version will be launched into market in April, competing with Changan CS95.

The models provide Real Time 4WD with Terrain Response. The systems would accurately distribute front and rear wheel torque, providing six driven modes including sandy, muddy, snowy, intelligent, sporting and economical.

The exterior appearance of the new model is basically the same as the previous exposed one, with more tough lines. The high and wide head also shows more masculinity. The two 4WD models all use LED lights, with interior four LED point sources. Taillights also have individual image, with double-U design matching with headlights and showing more sense of layers.

The interior design of GS8 creates a sense of family warmth by using warm-wood color. The length, width and height of GS8 reach 4,840mm, 1,910mm, 1,770mm respectively. Besides, it has a wheelbase of 2,800mm and adopts 7-seat layout.

Trumpchi GS8 will carry the latest third generation intelligent interactive system, in which 10.1 inch LCD tough screen being the main hardware part. Its software applications include the new combined instrument panel, intelligent voice control, multi-media system, all of which could connect with mobile terminal APP applications.

GAC Trumpchi GS8 will carry a 4B20M1 type 2.0L inline 4-cylinder turbocharged engine with power rating of 148 KW, matching with 6-speed AT. The comprehensive fuel consumption for every hundred kilometers reaches 8.7L and 9.3L for two-wheel model and four-wheel model respectively. The new model is positioned at middle-and-large-size SUV such as Havel H8, but it has more advantages in fuel economy.
