BAIC Group Builds Global Travel Service Platform

Shanghai, April 10th, Gasgoo - On April 8th, BAIC Group officially unveiled the launch of Huaxia Travel Co., Ltd. On the ceremony, Xue Heyi, Chairman of  BAIC Group, said that Huaxia Travel will be a global travel service platform with hundreds of billions of investment.

According to public information, registered capital of Huaxia travel amounts to 1.5 billion yuan, among which BAIC Group holds 51%.

Cai Suping, member of the standing committee of BAIC Group Party committee, deputy general manager, and chairman of Huaxia Travel Co., Ltd., said that Huaxia Travel will integrate all travel resources of BAIC Group. After the integration, Huaxia Travel will not be only in Beijing, but enters different cities all over the country. At the same time, it will launch a travel program suitable to all sectors of society, which includes car rental, finance leasing, taxi, car-hailing, travel service, time-sharing bus, second-hand car and other business models.

Huaxia Travel will rely on the existing official travel services to integrate travel services centering on the intelligent integrated transport service platform and build a three-dimensional travel service system. Based on BAIC' new energy vehicles, Huaxia is to build a green full-service travel service system, which includes car-hailing, taxi, smart shuttle bus, shared logistics vehicles and so on.

Xu Heyi also said that the establishment of Huaxia Travel carries the mission of transforming to travel-services-oriented and innovative company. Huaxia travel will quickly build investment platform to introduce social capital and improve the charging network construction as well as the construction of third party payment platform.

On the opening ceremony, Huaxia Travel signed the three party agreement with BEC Group and Chang Qing Zhu(Beijing) Technology to carry out multi-level, multi-field and multi-form strategic cooperation in green travel, intelligent operation platform construction and so on.
