GAC Trumpchi GS4 PHEV version is officially launched today

This year, GAC Trumpchi will focus on alternative energy market and launch several power models. It’s known that Trumpchi’s new PHEV model GS4 PHEV version will be launched today. Based on the ordinary version, GS4 PHEV equips with a hybrid system combined with 1.5L engine and electric motor, with expected range exceeding 310 KM.

The new model continues the designing idea from gasoline version, with front air grille adopting flying dynamics shape and lamps using opening-eye design. Tails use many horizontal lines, and the bumping lines on tailgates show stereoscopic senses. The new vehicle uses blue decoration in details including front grilles, LOGO and “PHEV” mark in the tail.

Little differences are shown in interior decoration. The greatest change turns out to be the knob shifts in gear levers. It will keep the high qualities in workmanship and materials.

The new model will equip with a hybrid system combined from 1.5L Atkinson cycle engines and G-MC electromechanical coupling systems. Oil consumption for every 100 kilometers turns out to be 1.8L, compared with the 6.7L for gasoline version model. Besides, the new SUV model will have a range of 70 kilometers under BEV mode.
