Lynk & Co 01 said to be more powerful than Mercedes-Benz GLA

Shanghai (Gasgoo)-Based on the Compact Modular Architecture (CMA), the Lynk & Co 01 is co-built by Geely and Volvo, making its world premiere in April this year. The new model provides four different design styles and two versions. Powered by the VEP4 2.0T turbocharged engine from Volvo's Drive-E series, the Lynk & Co 01 is said to be powerful than the Mercedes-Benz GLA.

With these four different design styles, the Lynk & Co 01 offers clear configuration information for customers, greatly simplifying the selection process when purchasing a desired model. The Lynk & Co 01 meets customers' personalized demands with these four new styles. Besides, it also provides several configuration options, such as 12 wheel rims, 15 steering wheels, Rainbow night lamps with 7 different colors, and ample decorative trims.

Three Lynk & Co 01 Pro version models and One Lite version model are revealed. They all feature stylish and beautiful exterior. In terms of the powertrain, the Lynk & Co 01 offers the VEP4 2.0T turbocharged engine from Volvo's Drive-E series with a maximum power of 140kW and a peak torque of 300Nm, mated with Aisin 6-speed AMT. What worth mentioning, the Lynk & Co 01 features a more robust engine than its rival, the Mercedes-Benz GLA by comparison.

The Lynk & Co 01 will hit the market in the last quarter this year. Coming fitted with Bosch's latest ESP 9.3 highly dynamic version as well as 17 industry-leading intelligent driving and controlling functions, the Lynk & Co 01 can easily realize a stable and safe driving on different kinds of roads.
