SUV sales of Sokon Industry Group grow 70% year-on-year in October

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Sokon Industry Group released its October output and sales volume report on the night of November 9th, showing that its total sales volume for passenger vehicles and commercial vehicles reached 42,003 units with 24.74% year-on-year growth. Engines were sold 55,295 units, growing 14.10% year on year and continuing the growth trend since the beginning of this year. SUV sales reached 24,312 units in October, growing 69.74% year-on-year and making new historical record in terms of monthly sales volume.

Obvious changes also take place in Sokon Industry Group’s product structure. Traditional MPV models face year-on-year declines of 42.76% and 47.49% respectively for October sales and the cumulative sales in the previous ten months. Total sales volume for crossover passenger vehicles reached 34,017 units with a year-on-year decline of 3.34%.

The cumulative vehicle output and sales volume for Sokon Industry Group reached 328,079 units and 327,683 units respectively from January to October this year, growing 10.76% and 12.47% year-on-year.
