Top 10 sedan models by October sales

Shanghai (Gasgoo)-According to the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA), the Sylphy took the first place with October delivery of 38,514 units, followed by the Jetta with a delivery of 38,157 units. The new Santana ranked third with October sales of 36,831 units. Though ranking the first place in October sales, the Sylphy posted a year-on-year decline of 5.32% and month-on-month drop of 3.2%. The Jetta and the New Santana enjoyed positive growths over the previous year.  

Strikingly, the Baojun 310 boasted the largest year-on-year sales growth of 120.03% to 25,983 units. The Corolla followed the Baojun 310 with an increase of 44.74%，but it decreased 18.98% month on month. In October, more than a half of the top 10 sedan models suffered year-on-year sales decline, the New Excelle decreased 8.99%, which is the highest drop among them.
