Top 10 JV SUV models by October sales in China
Shanghai (Gasgoo)-As is known, October is the peak season for vehicles. According to the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA), Tiguan took the sales crown among JV models with a remarkable delivery of 37,971 units, surging 75.6% year on year. Though taking the second place of JV sales, the Envision lagged far behind the Tiguan with October delivery of 22,160 units, representing a year-on-year drop of 31.38% and a slight month-on-month increase of 3.65%. Followed by the Envision, the X-TRAIL ranked third with sales of 20,421 units, increasing 14.63% year on year and 19.64% month on month.
The Kicks, a new-born model which went on sales in July, 2017, sold well and hold the tenth place with monthly sales of 10,392 units, up 18.02% month on month. Among the ten models, only the Toyota RAV4 and the Audi Q5 suffered both year-on-year and month-on-month drops. The Toyota RAV4 decreased 1.29% year on year, while the Audi Q5, 5.54%. Compared with last month, the Toyota RAV4 dropped 7.03%, and the Audi Q5 posted a sales decline of 22.03%.
