Lynk & Co 01 prices turn out to be lower than expectation

Shanghai (Gasgoo)-On Nov. 28, Lynk & Co launched the Lynk & Co 01 2.0T version model. The highly anticipated Chinese-brand model offers six variants with price range between 158,800 and RMB 220,800.

Previously, Lynk & Co had made a lot of preparations on the marketing of the 01. In October, Lynk & Co officially announced the price of the 01, which ranges from RMB 170,000 and RMB 240,000 according to its variants from Lite version to Pro version. The model was said to take on the VW Tiguan, Honda CR-V, Lexus Nx and Audi Q3. At the Auto Guangzhou 2017, 6,201 Lynk & Co 01 models were snapped up in 137 seconds and finished payment online in 57 minutes. Before hitting the market, the Lynk & Co 01 has attracted huge public attention.

Based on the CMA platform co-developed by Geely and Volvo, the 01 2.0T version model comes with Volvo's Drive-E series of VEP4 2.0T four-cylinder engine, mated with six-speed AMTs or seven-speed dual-clutch transmissions, the Lynk & Co 01 can deliver a maximum power output of 190hp and a peak torque of 300Nm.

Adopting the design concept of urban aesthetics of opposites, the Lynk & Co 01 features a noble, sporty, stylish and impressive appearance. With a modern design, the model boasts a high recognition and high-quality front end. It also features LED running lamps and a pulling-through intake grille. Thanks to the LED taillights and multiple personalized decorations, including a black car roof and a silver luggage rack, the new model looks youthful and fashionable.
