FAW Toyota YTD sales grow 8.7% year on year

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- In November, FAW Toyota delivered nearly 61,000 vehicles, up 2% year on year. Its cumulative sales this year reached 644,000 units from January to November with a year-on-year growth of 8.7%. Last month, Corolla family sold about 30,000 units and Prado delivered more than 6,400 units. It’s no doubt that FAW Toyota will complete its annual sales target of 670,000 units and it will strive to achieve the target of 700,000 units.

The auto industry’s slow growth in 2017 creates pressure for all auto companies. In contrast, FAW Toyota achieves steady growth in the year and accomplishes 96% of 670,000 units’ annual target in the previous eleven months. Besides, FAW Toyota has achieved positive growths for three consecutive years and completed internal goals for consecutive 24 months.

Till the end of November, compact car new Corolla, small-size car Vios FS, compact SUV new RAV4 and mid-large SUV new Prado have all been launched, further enriching product portfolio. FAW Toyota new Crown will also be launched into market on December 15th, providing new product for high-end car market.

The abundant sales channels also contribute to FAW Toyota’s excellent performance. Currently, FAW Toyota has a total of 800 4S stores and branches across the nation, covering almost all cities and counties to provide full sales services. In the meantime, FAW Toyota is also trying for new sales methods including digital marketing, experience marketing, crossover marketing, sporting marketing and entertainment marketing. In the future, FAW Toyota will further meet customers’ demands in whole values, exclusive areas and brand emotions.

Tianjin FAW Toyota Xinyi Factory will be completed and put into production in June, 2018. The new factory introduces TNGA concept and produces small-size SUV IZOA as its first model. According to plan, at least 15 TNGA new models will be launched by 2020, including facelift models covering Corolla, RAV4, Crown and Prius.
