FAW-VW November sales reach nearly 200,000 units
Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Data shows that FAW Volkswagen November terminal sales reached 197,237 units (including imported Audi vehicles), up 10.9% year on year. The automaker sold 141,229 new Volkswagen-branded vehicles, increasing 12.7% year on year and 56,008 new Audi-branded vehicles, growing 6.5% from a year earlier.
Magotan sold 19,362 units in November with 21.3% year-on-year growth, still leading B-class market. Bora sold 27,156 units in November with a year-on-year growth of 8.9%. New Sagitar and crossover model C-Trek sold 34,024 units and 6,552 units respectively in November with year-on-year growths of 3.8% and 367.3%. Besides, the newly launched Golf family, Jetta and CC all performed well in November.
Audi brand still kept steady growth after becoming champion in domestic luxury auto market for five consecutive months. A4L sold 11,507 units with a year-on-year growth of 69.7% in November and Q3 sold 8,513 units with 3.8% year-on-year growth. Besides, A6L, A3 and Q5 sold 12,771 units, 8,113 units and 10,526 units respectively, all taking lead in their segment. It’s analyzed that newly launched Golf family products and “2025 strategy”, along with products in Volkswagen and Audi brands, will help to keep steady growths for sales and also make solid foundation for the sales sprint in last month.
