Honda to launch over 20 electrified models in China by 2025
Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On April 25, Honda and its Chinese JVs GAC Honda and Dongfeng Honda, showcased a number of new electrified models at Auto China 2018. According to Honda China, the Japanese automaker plans to launch over 20 electrified models in China by 2025.
The Everus EV concept model had its debut at the show. Co-developed by GAC Honda and Honda Motor China Technology, the Everus' first pure electric model will be launched in China this year.
Besides, the tenth-generation Accord Hybrid has been unveiled simultaneously. Carrying the Honda's third-generation i-MMD (Intelligent Multi Mode Drive) dual-motor hybrid power system, the new model, which will go on sale in the third quarter of 2018, enjoys a more youthful exterior with more luxurious configurations.
Another exhibit is the all-new Inspire Concept whose production model will be launched in the second half of this year. The new model features smooth lines and user-friendly premium configurations and is powered by an advanced powertrain, which delivers an extraordinary driving experience.
Apart from popular models, Honda also set up a particular zone to show off its advanced power, security and connectivity technologies, such as Sport Hybrid, Sport Turbo, Honda Sensing and Honda Connect.
