DFL to roll out 20 new EV models in next five years

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Dongfeng Motor Company Limited (DFL) plans to roll out 20 electrified models in the next five years to accelerate its NEV layout, according to Makoto Uchida, president of DFL.

Dongfeng Nissan: to launch first locally-produced BEV models

Dongfeng Nissan is going to launch Nissan's first locally-produced model in China dubbed the Sylphy Zero Emission and will introduce the global best-selling EV model the LEAF in this country. Reportedly, the Sylphy Zero Emission will start pre-sale in May and the all-new Leaf is expected to be introduced in China later in 2018.

Dongfeng Infiniti: to electrify all models by 2025

Nissan's luxury vehicle brand Infiniti expected electrified models to comprise around 25% of its China sales by 2022 and aims to electrify all models in this country by 2025. Relying on the Renault-Nissan Alliance's cutting-edge and mature EV technologies, Infiniti will officially launch BEV models in 2021, according to Ma Zhixin, vice president of DFL. In the future, the company will keep building a comprehensive powertrain system, including hybrid power and battery-driven systems.

Dongfeng Venucia: to launch 3 new EV models in 2019

Dongfeng Venucia has a blueprint to roll out 3 new EV models next year, said Lei Ping, executive vice president of DFL. He added that Dongfeng Venucia will continue to enrich and optimize its SUV product lineup and carry out the reform to achieve electrification, connectivity, intelligentization and sharing.
