Shanghai (Gasgoo)- The Lynk & Co 03's plug-in hybrid (PHEV) version was spied on roads recently after its fossil fuel-powered version was unveiled on August 20.

According to the patent images exposed, the Lynk & Co 03 PHEV version looks basically same as the fossil fuel-powered version in exterior. The model retains the Lynk & Co family's iconic design, featuring the split-type headlights and horizontal intake grille at its front face. Different from the fossil fuel-powered version, the PHEV version has a charging port on the left fender, which is shared by all Lynk & Co's PHEV models.

At the rear end, the vehicle still adopts the highly-recognizable L-shaped taillights and a black decorative sheet embedded with reflective stripes. The balanced layout of air exhaust ports makes the new model look rather sporty. The Lynk & Co 03 PHEV measures 4,639mm in length, 1,840 in width and 1,460 in height and has a 2,730mm wheelbase.

Inside, the Lynk & Co 03 PHEV features a center console leaning towards driver, which gathers a massive console panel, control knobs as well as some physical buttons. Above the console panel, two rectangular air conditioner vents decorated with chrome elements respond to the well-designed interior. Moreover, the new model boasts such amenities as the electrical park brake and automatic parking system.

The automaker said that the Lynk & Co 01 PHEV is powered by a hybrid system comprising a 1.5T in-line 3-cylinder engine and motors, which can generates a maximum combined power of 256hp. The model boasts a maximum mileage of 992km driven by such hybrid power system, which gives the car a combine fuel consumption of 1.7L/100km. Under electric-powered mode, the vehicle will has a battery range of 51km.
