Lynk & Co 03 to add new version with 2.0T engine

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Patent images of the Lynk & Co 03 2.0T version leaked out from China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) in recent days. The 2.0T version will be improved on output power over the 1.5T version, which will more satisfy users who have higher demands on power performance.

According to the patent images, the Lynk & Co 03 2.0T version basically retains the exterior design from the existing model. The design under the front bumper is in tune with that of the rear bumper, which underscores the vehicle’s sporty genes. As for the side profile, the chrome trims above the windows stretching to rear window shield look quite stylish and fashionable. Unlike the outgoing model that adopts concealed exhaust pipes, the 2.0T version gets two single exhaust pipes with one pipe on each side.

Offering two variants, the Lynk & Co 03 2.0T version will have some differences in such optional equipment as the sunroof, front & rear radars, color of rear spoiler, outside rear-view mirror and door handle between the top-spec and base-spec variant. Besides, 4 types of rims will be offered to customers for free choice.

In the powertrain department, the new model will feature a 2.0L turbocharged engine that pumps out 140kw and 300 N·m of torque peak, mated to a 7-speed dual clutch transmission.
