Presale of Lynk & Co 02 high-performance begins with price starting RMB160,000

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- The Lynk & Co 02 high-performance version's presale has officially started on March 1, only eight month after the Lynk & Co 02 hit the market. With 3 variants based on configurators, the new model is priced between RMB160,000 and RMB180,000.

Retaining the exterior design of the existing model, the high-performance version adopts a slender grille that is flanked by split-type headlights, rendering a more aggressive front fascia. Besides, the new model offers several new body color options, among which the eye-catching “energy purple” is particularly special.

The new vehicle is fitted with 19-inch five-spoke rims covered by Continental's run-flat tires, generating more visual impact than that of the Lynk & Co 02.

Under the hood, powering the vehicle is a Volvo Drive-E series' 2.0 TD engine that pumps out 190hp and 300N·m, hooked up to a 6-speed automatic transmission manufactured by Aisin. Besides, the high-performance version is equipped with 17 driver assistance systems, such as the adaptive cruise control system with automatic queueing function and the autonomous emergency braking system carrying the pedestrian recognition feature.

Geely reported that Lynk & Co brand sales in January soared 117.6% over a month ago to 12,588 units, among which the sales of the Lynk & Co 02 crossover SUV were 2,032 units.
