Lynk & Co 03+ to make debut at 2019 Innovative Auto Show on June 1

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Lynk & Co, a car brand spawned from the relationship between China’s Geely and Sweden’s Volvo, is going to launch the Lynk & Co03+ at the 2019 IAS (Innovative Auto Show) kicking off on June 1, according to the carmaker.

As an entry-level model of the Lynk & Co 03 Series, the 03+ is expected to be priced at around RMB250,000. It is said to be powered by Volvo’s 2.0-litre inline four-cylinder engine code-named JLH-4G20TDC that is able to pump out 254hp, mated with 8-speed automatic manual transmission and the four-wheel-drive system offered by BorgWarner. The 0-100km/h sprint can be done within only 5.9 seconds.

According to the published photos, the Lynk & Co 03+ adopts split-type headlights and Lynk & Co family’s signature grille adorned with metal trims. Air deflectors flanking the front bumper are designed to guide the turbulence around front wheels.

By virtue of the improved aerodynamic devices, the downforce at the top speed are increased to 40kg from 11kg, while the drag coefficient remains unchanged.

The Lynk & Co 03 will see 18-inch dual-five-spoke rims as standard. Besides, the new car will be outfitted with 6 plus and 6 parking radars at the vehicle’s front and rear parts respectively, black or body-colored door handles as well as panoramic imaging system.

Moreover, such facilities as carbon fiber splitter, newly-type 19-inch two-tone multi-spoke rims, bottom diffuser and carbon fiber rear spoiler will be offered to consumers for free choice. 

During the rest time of the year, the automaker is going to roll out the Lyn & Co 03+ performance version, the 02 PHEV and the Lynk & Co 05.
