To enhance the body's anti-collision ability, the VE-1 utilizes an ACE™ (advanced compatibility engineering™) design. Steel plate above 590Mpa accounts for 46% of the whole body structure and more 1,500Mpa ultra-high strength steel (UHSS) is used. In addition, the VE-1 is equipped with VSC (vehicle stability assist) system, BOS (brake override system), HAS (hill start assist) system, AVAS (acoustic vehicle alerting system) and ESS (emergency signal system).

Besides, the automaker has adopted NCM 622 cells, high strength battery shell made of aerospace-grade aluminum alloy to make the EV batteries safer. They can also power off automatically when suffering collision. The SUV is also equipped with high precision intelligent temperature control system, able to realize high power output in extreme weather.
