BYD July sales up 82.94% YoY

BYD sold 57,410 new vehicles in July, up 82.94% from a year ago. In the first seven months of this year, BYD’s total sales jumped 60.04% to 304,099 vehicles.

SAIC Motor PV July sales up 17% YoY

Toyota stopped the production of an assembly line in its Guangzhou factory on August 4, which was confirmed by the Japanese company. The shortage of some chip-related components resulted in the production adjustment, the company added.
