Geely’s ZEEKR to start delivery of 001 all-electric car next month

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Geely's premium electric car brand ZEEKR will see its first mass-produced model, the ZEEKR 001, roll off the production line in mid-October and kick off the car delivery in late October, according to a local media outlet. Currently, ZEEKR’s smart plant in Ningbo is well prepared for the impending volume production.

To satisfy the demands of both local and remote users, ZEEKR will hand over cars in three ways. Buyers are allowed to pick up cars at the brand's delivery experience centers or the plant. Besides, they can also choose the door-to-door service to welcome the new ZEEKR 001s.

ZEEKR is pushing ahead with the construction of service networks. It has opened service centers in such cities as Chengdu, Hangzhou, Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou, and equipped them with professional service teams.

Regarding energy supply deployment, ZEEKR plans to launch 290 self-built and self-operating charging stations by 2021, which will cover 10 cities, namely, Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hangzhou, Chengdu, Ningbo, Xi'an, Changsha, and Wuhan.

Additionally, ZEEKR will expand its charging service system by teaming up with third-party charging station operators.

As part of efforts to strengthen marketing forces, ZEEKR recently set up a sales service subsidiary in Tianjin. According to the business data platform Tianyancha, Tianjin ZEEKR Auto Sales Service Co.,Ltd. was founded on Sept. 26 as a wholly-owned subsidiary of ZEEKR Intelligent Technology Co.,Ltd. The new company has a registered line of businesses including the sales of new energy vehicles and relevant auto parts.
