SAIC MAXUS says Sept. sales hit 2021’s record high
Shanghai (Gasgoo)- SAIC MAXUS, an exclusively-invested subsidiary of SAIC Motor, announced on Friday that its monthly sales reached 17,684 units in September, jumping 25% over the previous year and hitting a new high level so far this year.
There were 8,102 wide-body light passenger vehicles sold by SAIC MAXUS last month, representing a 15% growth year on year. In this segment, the automaker deployed both new energy and traditional fuel vehicle models, including the V90, the V80 PLUS, the V80, the EV90, and the EV30, to offer more options to providers of logistics and passenger transport services.

The sales of SAIC MAXUS' MPV family, encompassing the G10, the G20 PLUS, and the G50 PLUS, amounted to 4,074 units in September.
Moreover, the automaker also sold 3,179 pickups last month, which were 41% more than that of the year-ago period.
SAIC MAXUS saw its sales for overseas businesses total 5,607 units in September.
The cumulative sales for the Middle East had exceeded 10,000 units as of Sept. 2021, the fourth market where SAIC MAXUS made such achievement following America, Australia & New Zealand, and Europe.
SAIC MAXUS had received over 20,000 and 30,000 vehicle orders from European and American markets respectively by the end of Sept. 2021. For the first nine months of this year, SAIC MAXUS' auto sales topped 10,000 units in Chile.
