China’s ride-hailing platform, Didi, announced that the company would stay in Russia and continue to serve local drivers and passengers. Notably, on February 21st, the company made a public decision to withdraw from the Russian market starting March 4th due to poor business outcomes.

NIO sets up car maintenance subsidiary

On March 1st, Shanghai Shouwei Automobile Maintenance Service Co., Ltd. was registered with business scope including car wash and chauffeur services. The company is wholly owned by NIO, with a registered capital of RMB1 million, according to the corporate database, Qichacha.
