SAIC-GM-Wuling releases images of new SUV model under Wuling silver logo

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- SAIC-GM-Wuling (“SGMW”) today released via its WeChat account the official images of an all-new compact SUV model under the Wuling silver logo, named Xingchi (in Chinese), targeting younger consumers.

Inheriting the "Wingle Motion Aesthetics" of the silver logo, the Wuling Xingchi features a wingle-styled dot-matrix grille, where a green “S” badge is located at the lower right-hand corner.

The sporty front bumper, which is flanked by the black-trim-surrounded fog lights, also creates a greater vitality essence.

As for the side profile, the SUV uses a contrasting color solution to render a visual effect of a “floating” sunroof. The side skirt is also decorated with a fluorescent green trim, while the dual-five-spoke wheel embraces an eye-catching red caliper.

The new model packs an exhaust layout with a single pipe on each side.

Regarding the interior, the automaker only unveiled the design of the space surrounding the gear selector. It can be surmised that the cockpit will largely use panels and stitches in the same green color as that of the car body.

The Xingchi will be the fourth model to bear the Wuling silver logo, following the Asta SUV, the Victory MPV, and the Jiachen MPV.
