The vice president said that before the company’s entry to the UK market, Chery Auto will firstly establish its presence in other countries in Europe, as well as make its reentrance to the Australian market.
To be specific, Chery Auto is likely to introduce its Omoda 5 global-oriented model to Germany, Italy, France, and Spain next year. Moreover, with its right-hand drive trait and its similar regulations to Europe, Australia is also of great importance to the Chinese automaker’s global deployment.
Notably, Charlie Zhang said that Chery Auto is determined to make a foothold in the Australian auto market with its technological advantages instead of friendly prices. The hotter-selling MG vehicles and Great Wall Motor vehicles in the local Australian market are great examples for Chery Auto.
Aside from the Omoda 5, Chery Auto also has plans to export its Tiggo SUV and Arrizo sedan models to other overseas markets, including Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, South Africa, and Turkey.
