FAW Group celebrates 70th anniversary with 55.77 millionth vehicle rolling off line

Beijing (Gasgoo)- Chinese legacy automaker FAW Group (FAW) celebrated its 70th anniversary with on July 15, 2023.

Coinciding with this momentous occasion, FAW also reached a significant milestone as the 55.77 millionth vehicle rolled off the production line. This achievement represents another important milestone in the brand's history, signifying FAW's transition from industrialization and marketization to a new phase of larger-scale and more globalized high-quality development.

In the presence of distinguished guests, vehicle models including the JETTA VS7, the Toyota bZ3, the Volkswagen Touareg, the Audi A4L, and the Bestune B70 sequentially drove off the production line. Meanwhile, the Jiefang J7 leading autonomous electric heavy-duty truck and the Hongqi E-HS9 SUV proudly passed through Gate No. 1 at the ceremony site. Ultimately, the honor of being the 55.77 millionth vehicle went to the Hongqi E-HS9. With this achievement, FAW solidifies its position as the leader in terms of production and sales volume.

To date, FAW has accumulated a total production and sales volume of 55.77 million vehicles. The company's operating revenue has so far reached nearly 8.3 trillion yuan, with a total profit and tax payment exceeding 1.87 trillion yuan and total assets surpassing 600 billion yuan. The brand value of "FAW Group" exceeds 420 billion yuan, while both the "Jiefang" and "Hongqi" brands boast a value exceeding 110 billion yuan, placing them at the forefront of the domestic automotive industry.
