Chery Holding’s August monthly sales hit new high

Beijing (Gasgoo)- In August, Chery Holding managed to refresh its monthly sales record with an impressive total of 171,262 vehicles sold, reflecting a year-on-year growth of 20.8%, according to the company’s announcement.

August also marked another month for Chery Holding to sell over 150,000 vehicles, which further emphasized the company's sustained momentum.

From January to August, the cumulative sales of Chery Holding reached a staggering 1,063,157 units, showcasing a substantial 42% surge from a year ago. This remarkable performance enabled Chery to surpass the one-million-unit sales milestone two months ahead of the previous year.

Specifically, the CHERY brand saw robust sales in August, with 123,610 vehicles sold, a notable year-on-year increase of 15.5%. For the first eight months of the year, the brand recorded sales of 773,333 vehicles, demonstrating a substantial 36.4% jump from the previous year.

In the past month, the EXEED brand also made significant strides with sales of 12,081 vehicles, which shot up 118% year over year. Cumulatively, the brand achieved sales of 65,783 units from January to August this year, representing an astounding year-on-year soar of 130.2%.

Not to be outdone, Chery's JETOUR brand saw its August sales total 28,007 vehicles, which significantly hiked 47.6% from that of a year ago. The brand's performance in the first eight months of the year was equally impressive, with cumulative sales of 161,900 vehicles, leaping 67.4% year over year. 

Notably, Chery Holding’s four mainstay models, the Tiggo 8, the Tiggo 7, the JETOUR X70, and the Arrizo 8, all with sales exceeding 10,000 units in August, played a pivotal role in driving Chery Holding's overall sales growth.
