Great Wall Motor, Autoliv deepen cooperation for new tech R&D, overseas market expansion

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On September 21st, Great Wall Motor ("GWM") and Autoliv officially signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement in Baoding, marking the beginning of a new phase in their long-standing partnership.

Under this agreement, both parties will engage in close collaboration in various areas, including the development and application of cutting-edge safety technologies, sustainable development, and the expansion of overseas business. The focus will be on the R&D of common solutions, integrated development of restraint systems, leveraging each other's strengths, and achieving deep supply chain integration and technological synergy. Together, they will explore the forefront of electronic, intelligent, and integrated technology applications, further enhancing GWM's competitiveness in overseas markets.

Wei Jianjun, GWM’s chairman, expressed that over the course of more than 20 years of cooperation, both sides have established strong ties.
