Geely Automobile boasts 31% YoY surge in Sept. sales
Beijing (Gasgoo)- In the ninth month of 2023, Geely Automobile Holdings Limited (Geely Automobile) saw its monthly auto sales surge 31% from a year ago, which stood at 170,472 vehicles, according to the company’s announcement in the beginning of October.

In the first nine months of this year, Geely Automobile’s cumulative sales summed up to 1,155,278 vehicles, up 17% year over year.
In September, Geely Automobile’s new energy vehicle (NEV) segment boasted prominent sales figures, which came in at 53,692 vehicles (including battery-electric vehicles and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles), leaping 36.88% year over year. NEVs accounted for about 31.5% of the group’s total sales volume in the last month.
As to performance the individual brands, the GEELY brand sold 133,043 vehicles last month, representing a 31% jump year-on-year. Among which, 13,080 units were contributed by the NEV dedicated Galaxy range.

The ZEEKR brand boasted a 46% year-on-year hike in September deliveries, which amounted to 12,053 vehicles. Meanwhile, the Lynk & Co brand sold 21,859 vehicles in the past month, which zoomed up 35% from the previous year.
Additionally, Geely Automobile shipped 27,574 vehicles to overseas markets in September, reflecting a growth of 28% year-on-year.
