Viewed from the side, the BYD SHARK features sharp lines, accentuating a strong sense of power. Additionally, it adopts the common layout of double-row seating found in passenger pickups, along with gantry frames and side steps.

The interior of the BYD SHARK resembles that of the FANGCHENGBAO BAO 5, with substantial usage of straight lines. Exhibiting an iconic design of BYD, the new vehicle features a floating dash board and a rotatable central control screen. It's noteworthy that there are numerous mechanical buttons retained near the electronic gear lever.

In terms of power, according to official information, the BYD SHARK will be equipped with the DMO (Dual Mode Off-road) Super Hybrid Platform. This platform comprises a new hybrid non-load-bearing architecture, the dual-layer ultra-safe Blade Battery, the longitudinal EHS (Electric Hybrid System) dediacted to off-road use, and is compatible with the DiSus-P Intelligent Hydraulic Body Control System, which provides drivers with more precise body control and driving assistance when driving on rough terrain.
