Operating independently as the Shanghai branch of Wuling Automobile Industry Co., Ltd., the Shanghai Advanced Center consolidates the group's expertise in vehicle manufacturing, components, and powertrain systems. It aims to leverage Shanghai's cutting-edge technologies, innovative mindset, and global outlook. The center focuses on key components such as electric motor control systems and electric motors, aiming to drive breakthroughs in critical technologies and innovative applications.

Equipped with advanced simulation, testing, and R&D platforms, the center will also serve as a hub for fostering Guangxi Auto's technological innovation, talent development, and industrial synergy.

In recent years, Guangxi Auto Group has prioritized the transition to NEV sector. It has successfully developed essential products, including electric motors, electric motor control systems, and electric drive axles. Among these, its electric drive axle product has already surpassed the 1.5-million-unit mark in both cumulative sales and output.

The Shanghai Advanced Center will further this career by aligning its work with customer demands and operational needs. Through a coordinated "headquarters + R&D center" model, the center will provide forward-looking technical solutions and accelerate the commercialization of cutting-edge technologies.

As part of its efforts to further develop core technologies for NEVs, the group has already launched significant innovation hubs, including the intelligent connected vehicle R&D facility in Wuhan and the innovation center in Hong Kong. By establishing the Shanghai Advanced Center, Guangxi Auto is forming a robust Shanghai-Hong Kong-Wuhan R&D network, further enhancing its innovation capabilities and development strategy.
