BYD's DENZA to put 2025 DENZA D9 model onto market in late Dec.
Shanghai (Gasgoo)- BYD's premium brand DENZA recently announced that the 2025 DENZA D9 model will hit the market on December 26. The new model will adopt BYD's latest fifth-generation DM (Dual Mode) technology and offer an optional LiDAR device.

The new DENZA D9 maintains the design of the current model, featuring sharp headlights and a unique grille that presents a diamond-cut effect, giving the front a distinctive look. At the rear, a new "BYD DM-i AWD" badge highlights the upgraded powertrain.
In terms of size, the new DENZA D9 measures 5,250 mm in length, 1,960 mm in width, and 1,900 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,110 mm. Notably, the model offers an optional LiDAR device, further enhancing its perception capabilities and safety.

Inside, the 2025 DENZA D9 retains the existing model's layout, including a D-shaped steering wheel, a compact digital instrument cluster, and a large-size central touchscreen. In addition, the vehicle adopts a column-mounted shifter.
In terms of powertrain performance, the new DENZA D9 is equipped with BYD's fifth-generation DM hybrid system, which combines an electric motor with a 1.5T engine delivering a maximum output of 115 kW. The vehicle is powered by a 39.938 kWh battery pack, offering two ranges of 145 km and 155 km on battery power alone. Fuel consumption is rated at 7.15 L/100 km and 6.65 L/100 km, respectively.
