New BYD Yuan PLUS revealed in MIIT's filing
Shanghai (Gasgoo)- A recent filing in the latest batch of China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's vehicle catalog unveiled BYD's new Yuan PLUS.

The new Yuan PLUS maintains the design language of the current model. Its front fascia features a closed-off grille and blacked-out triangular headlights connected by a chrome strip engraved with the logo "元" (the Chinese character of Yuan), enhancing its refined aesthetic.
The vehicle's profile showcases coupe-like lines, creating a sleek silhouette. Additionally, the D-pillar trim has been upgraded compared to the current model.
For reference, the current Yuan PLUS measures 4,455 mm in length, 1,875 mm in width, and 1,615 mm in height, with a 2,720 mm wheelbase, positioning it as a compact SUV.

At the rear, the new Yuan PLUS is equipped with full-width taillights and displays the "BYD" logo.
The new Yuan PLUS offers features such as front and side radars, a panoramic sunroof, and roof rails.
Regarding the power performance, the new Yuan PLUS comes equipped with an electric motor that produces a maximum power output of 150kW. It is paired with a lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery pack.
