CAIT-SH, T3Go partner to advance Robotaxi innovation with CATL Bedrock Chassis

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On July 14, Contemporary Amperex Intelligence Technology (Shanghai) Limited (CAIT-SH), a wholly-owned subsidiary of CATL, signed a strategic cooperation agreement with T3Go, a smart travel ecosystem platform developed by Nanjing LingHang Technology Co., Ltd., according to a press release on CAIT-SH's WeChat account. CAIT-SH and T3Go will collaborate on exploring optimal operational strategies for the entire lifecycle of Robotaxis, and developing innovative Robotaxi solutions, based on the ultra-safe, high-efficiency, and intelligent capabilities of CATL Bedrock Chassis platform.

Designed as a "high-efficiency mobile energy carrier", the CATL Bedrock Chassis features a decoupled upper and lower vehicle body architecture, highly integrated mechanical systems, and a deeply unified energy management framework combining battery, electric motor, and electronic control systems. With open software interfaces and a modular application ecosystem, the CATL Bedrock Chassis provides a standardized and scalable hardware foundation for advanced driving assistance system (ADAS). This setup significantly streamlines the design, development, and manufacturing of Robotaxi fleets.

Under the agreement, CAIT-SH will adapt CATL Bedrock Chassis for T3Go with electric intelligent technology solutions including battery swapping, full redundancy, and comprehensive drive-by-wire capabilities, supporting rapid project deployment.

As a key operator in the Robotaxi market, T3Go brings robust service experience to the partnership, focusing on three strategic pillars: building an integrated platform for both digital and offline Robotaxi operations, developing customizable vehicle models, and creating scalable and replicable commercial pathways.

Through collaborations with automakers and algorithm developers to leverage massive data and a robust operational system, T3Go is enhancing the Robotaxi ecosystem with insights drawn from real user demand and intelligent dispatch systems. These initiatives are aimed at expanding Robotaxi applications across cities and accelerating the transition from pilot programs to large-scale deployment.

Looking ahead, CAIT-SH and T3Go will deepen cooperation across multiple fronts related to the CATL Bedrock Chassis and Robotaxi operational scenarios, including technology integration, joint product definition, co-development and testing, data sharing, and intelligent upgrades. Their partnership seeks to address key industry challenges such as high development costs, long lead times, and fragmented resource investment. Together, they aim to establish a new collaborative model that bridges skateboard chassis hardware platforms with mobility service operations.
