China Changan Automobile, CATARC deepen strategic partnership to advance innovation, sustainable automotive development

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- On October 23, China Changan Automobile Group and the China Automotive Technology and Research Center ("CATARC") held a strategic cooperation signing ceremony in Chongqing, marking a new phase in their long-standing partnership.

In the field of energy efficiency standards, they co-led the formulation of key benchmarks, including high- and low-temperature testing protocols for plug-in hybrid vehicles. On the low-carbon front, the partners developed a comprehensive carbon accounting model for the entire automotive life cycle, establishing independent carbon evaluation capabilities that now underpin the industry's transition toward greener development.
