China's top-selling mid-sized sedans in June
Shanghai, July 10 (Gasgoo.com) China's overall passenger vehicles (PVs) sales plunged for the third straight month in June compared with the previous month, amid the trend that mid-sized sedans have been experiencing a bigger decline than other vehicle segments.
With 14,042 units sold, the 8th-generation Accord made by Guangzhou Honda Auto tops the mid-sized car sales list, but it's worth noticing that the rate of its sales decline was the most rapid.
The second best selling car was Camry of Guangzhou Toyota, with sales down 15.9% month on month to 10,386 units. It was followed by Passat built by Shanghai VW with 8,092 units sold.
Dongfeng Nissan's Teana and FAW Toyota's Reiz were the only two models that saw growth in the monthly sales results. Teana scored a tremendous 8754.5% growth month-on-month as the joint venture automaker brought the 2008 Teana to the market by mid-June.
