FAW-VW set to reshuffle executive team again

Shanghai, July 17 (Gasgoo.com) FAW-Volkswagen (VW) Sales Co. is mulling an adjustment of its executive team again after Hu Yong replaced Su Weiming as the company’s new general manager, reported Beijing Times today.

FAW-VW Sales Co. has passed a personnel reform measure, which includes suspending nearly seven vice general manager positions for new election throughout the company, the report said, citing sources. Only two vice general mangers are retained.

Relative resuffle also likely occurs to the company's managements distributed in northern, central, western and southern parts of China started by Su Weiming since April, 2007, but it is still unconfirmed. The marketing department and pubic relations department inside the company will be separated.

Besides, FAW-VW is planning to merger its Beijing office back into Changchun facility. Hence, the previous proposal of moving FAW-VW Sales Co. to Beijing by Su Weiming was rejected.
