Dongfeng Automobile Stock Co., Ltd (DFAC)

With the approval of the Document of No. [1999] 68 issued by the National Securities Inspection Association, Dongfeng Automobile Stock Co., Ltd. (Shanghai Securities Stock Code 600006, English Abbreviation: DFAC) was initiated and founded by Dongfeng Automobile Co., Ltd. on July 15th, 1999. On July 27th, 1999, Stock DFAC came into the market in the Shanghai Stock Exchange.
 
The company’s general capital stock accounts for two billion stocks, and its general assets exceed eight billion RMB with two branch companies of automobile and foundry, two operational departments of semi-truck and mobile machinery shop and the share-holding companies including Dongfeng Cummins Engine Co., Ltd., Zhengzhou Nissan Automobile Co., Ltd., Dongfeng,Yulong Automobile Sales Co., Ltd. and Dongfeng Xiangfan Station Wagon Co., Ltd.
  
The company’s main business covers the design, manufacture and sales of the Dongfeng series of light commercial vehicles, Dongfeng Cummins engines and subsidiary parts. Among these, the Dongfeng light commercial vehicle has seven series and 800 varieties, such as Dongfeng Mini-overlord, Dongfeng Golden Overlord, Dongfeng Delica, Dongfeng Star, Dongfeng Jingang, Dongfeng Xintianyou and Dongfeng Lotus etc. As the largest light commercial vehicle manufacturing base in China, its product structure covers the models of light truck, mini-truck, light passenger car, passenger car chassis and SUV. Dongfeng Cummins Engine Co., Ltd., of which the company holds 50 per cent stocks, manufactures B, C and L series of 4-9 liter mechanical and full-electric diesel engines with 100~370 horsepower, which meets the Euro No. 3 and No. 4 Auto Exhausting Standards, and also the Phase II and III Exhausting Standards of Euro-American Non-highway Mechanical Equipments. The Dongfeng Yulong Automobile Sales Co., Ltd., of which the company holds 51 per cent stocks, is the first joint venture of the mobility field.

The Zhengzhou Nissan Automobile Co., Ltd., of which the company holds 51 per cent stocks, is currently the biggest high-level SUV manufacturing base in China.
