Daimler-Chrysler China

DaimlerChrysler China (DCCL), based in Beijing, oversees the Company's passenger car and commercial vehicle business development and coordination in China. Its vehicle brands include: Mercedes-Benz, Maybach, smart, Jeep, Chrysler and Setra, among others. DCCL also oversees the on-going joint-venture projects, as well as the development of the Company’s vehicle finance arm, DaimlerChrysler Services.

DaimlerChrysler's long-term commitment to China - a key part of the Company's Asia strategy - is evident in its extensive history in China as well as its future plans. The Company started its business in China in the 1930's by setting up offices and sales networks, and through the years it has continued to increase its presence here.

DaimlerChrysler is expanding sales and production of passenger cars and commercial vehicles in China. DaimlerChrysler's joint venture BeijingBenz-DaimlerChrysler (BBDC) with Beijing Automotive Industry Corporation (BAIC) formally opened its new facility in Beijing on 15th September,2005. BBDC has been producing Mercedes-Benz E-Class sedans since December 2004. The new facility will produce Mercedes-Benz E-Class, C-Class, Chrysler 300C and Mitsubishi Outlander, representing a new highlight in Beijing’s auto industry. The Company imports passenger cars and commercial vehicles to China under the Mercedes-Benz, Chrysler, Jeep® brands.

1. DaimlerChrysler Auto Finance (China) Limited ("DCAFC") is a company of the DaimlerChrysler Financial   Services Group. With businesses in over 35 countries   DaimlerChrysler Financial Services is one of the worlds largest captive automotive financial service providers worldwide.

DCAFC is the dedicated finance and insurance source of DaimlerChrysler AG's automotive products, offering a broad range of automotive finance and insurance solutions for dealers and customers in China.

2. Established in September 2005, Chrysler Group (China) Sales Co., Ltd. (CGCSL) is a wholly-owned company of DaimlerChrysler. CGCSL is responsible to import, distribute, develop related network, manage CG brands and provide after sales service for all Chrysler Group CBU products (Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge brands) in China.

3. Mercedes-Benz (China) Limited has stragetically established a comprehensive dealer network in China. All the approved showrooms and service centres are located in convenient areas with easy access in order to provide unsurpassed sales and services to customers. Mercedes-Benz (China) Limited will continue to develop business in China, expand dealer network and contribute towards the long-term development of China's automobile industry
