China FAW aims 1 million sales records

FAW Group Corporation posts anticipated sedan sales of 1 million units in 2007, of which 400,000 units are FAW- VW brand models, sales of FAW Xiali and FAW Toyota are at 200,000 and 270,000, respectively; FAW Hainan Mazda and FAW Car Co., Ltd will each account for 80,000 units.

Starting on 2004 till 2006, FAW has reached the milestone of one million vehicle sales for three consecutive years. FAW sold 710,000 sedans in 2005, a growth of 11.5% year after year; and sedan sales climbed by 27% year after year to 873,000 units in 2006. Almost 160,000 sedans were sold in the first two months this year.
