Dongfeng Honda built up engine production base

Dongfeng Honda Automobile Company Limited recently completed the construction of its new engine plant in Wuhan, the second engine base Honda has built in China after Guangzhou. The annual production capacity of the plant is 120,000 units. According to Liu Xuhe, vice-president of Dongfeng Honda, construction for the plant began on December 19, 2005. With cylinder and cylinder head production lines, the plant is to manufacture 120,000 units 1.8L and 2.9Lcylinder and cylinder head of engines annually.
