First qualified passenger and commercial vehicle manufacturer emerging

One light bus model produced by Chang'an Ford Mazda was listed on the auto produce table unveiled by National Development and Reform Commission of China (NDRC), marking Chang'an Ford Mazda has become a joint auto manufacturer who is qualified to produce both commercial vehicles and passenger vehicles.

Passenger vehicles are vehicles designed to carry no more than the driver and eight passengers, and are used mainly for public transport or temporary shuffle services. It includes most cars, coupes, station wagons, vans, MPVs, SUVs and some pickup trucks, while commercial vehicles contains buses, semi-trailers and trucks, used primarily for the transportation of goods and personnel.

It is reported that Chang'an Ford aims to boost production from 200,000 to 250.000 units in the second half year to meet the market demands.
