Banma, Fliggy to co-develop AI engine for ICV scenarios in scenic spots
Shanghai (Gasgoo)- The Internet-connected vehicle (ICV) solution provider Banma and the Alibaba-owned online travel agent platform Fliggy announced on October 25 a cooperation to jointly develop China's first scenic spot service tailored for ICV drivers, according to local media.
The service will make ticketing system automatically triggered at the arrival of a tourist driving an ICV, and then visitors will be allowed to enter the scenic spot after paying tickets and identified by the face-swiping system. The service will be applied in over 1,000 scenic spots across China, serving around 500,000 ICV users over the next three years.
The cooperation will reportedly focus on the AI engine for ICV scenarios, which is an application of the Banma Zhixing MARS3.0, an ICV solution launched in September by Banma. Compared with the former generation, the MARS3.0 operational system is able to prejudge consumers' intentions and demands by using AI algorithm based on a deep data integration of vehicles, users, environment, ecosystem and traffic system. Besides, it is also the first time for Banma to put the AI engine for ICV scenarios into practice in tourism industry.
Banma announced on September 13 the completion of its first financing round that raised over RMB1.6 billion and the opening-up strategy on technologies, ecosystem, products and businesses. Last year, the company released the services of the smart refueling, the smart parking and the cloud payment on highways, with its footprints existing in various fields. The AliOS-based Banma operational system has been utilized in such car brands as Roewe, MG, Dongfeng Citroen, Ford and Qoros, etc.
