Dongfeng Motor’s mobility service brand DF-GO to start operation in Wuhan in late May
Shanghai (Gasgoo)- DF-GO, a mobility service brand of Dongfeng Motor Group, is ready to start operation in Wuhan, capital of China’s Hubei Province, on May 28, according to local media outlets.
The first batch of drivers has graduated from a driver training school after learning necessary theories and know-hows. Meanwhile, to ensure a normative service, the 17 drivers underwent personality tests before they engage in works.
It is reported that DF-GO will use the Dongfeng Fengshen E70 EVs as dedicated vehicles. All drivers are required to pass the facial recognition and alcohol inspection on in-car smart facilities before they receive an order. This is to make sure that a driver picks the right car and prevent dangers caused by improper driving behaviors.
The brand has built five service centers in Wuhan based on users’ distribution and is developing its own DCMS (Distribution center management system). The remote diagnosis platform allows technical experts to interact with maintenance personnel at each service center in real time, helping them seek out the reason that triggers vehicle faults as soon as possible and raise repair solutions accordingly.
DF-GO was officially launched at Auto Shanghai 2019 in April. With the aim of building a one-stop mobility service platform, the service brand will work on offering consumers such services as ride-hailing, hourly car rental, taxi, charging, public transportation, commuting and logistics.
