According to the app, iFlag Mobility has deployed its service in a total of 57 cities across China, including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen.

The platform said on September 10 it had completed the construction of its underlying infrastructure and would operate the service in Changchun, the capital of Jilin Province, in the first place.

FAW Group released a new development strategy for its Hongqi brand at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing on January 8, 2018 and announced then a “smart mobility ecosystem” for the premium brand would be formed.

Last October, the state-owned automaker announced its R.Flag Plan – a technology development plan for Hongqi brand, which was also a major achievement in promoting brand image and product competitiveness of the luxury marque.

The R.Flag Plan comprises four strategic plans – iRFlag, e.Rflag, 5f.Rflag, and m.Rflag. Of that, the m.RFlag represents Hongqi’s technology layout in ride-sharing. Supported by many municipal or provincial governments, Hongqi has launched ride-sharing service in Changchun, Jilin and Foshan cities, and Hainan province (photo source: iFlag's WeChat account).
