GOHIGH, NavInfo announce strategic cooperation on intelligent connectivity, smart traffic

Shanghai (Gasgoo)- Datang Gohigh (GOHIGH), a high-tech enterprise offering data network technologies, and NavInfo, China's leading location-based service provider, recently inked a strategic cooperation agreement to jointly develop applications and core technologies linking with a view to such areas as vehicle-road collaboration, intelligent connectivity and smart traffic.

Based on each other's technical and industrial advantages, GOHIGH and NavInfo will make joint efforts to implement such technologies and applications as high-definition map and positioning, C-V2X (cellular vehicle-to-everything) application, AI fusion detection in IoV (Internet of Vehicles)-related scenarios like urban roads, expressways and smart industrial parks.

Besides, two companies intend to promote the technical applications and industrial development of the new-generation traffic information control network and information infrastructures in the areas of smart highway, smart parking and transportation planning and improvement.

Moreover, GOHIGH and NavInfo will team up on developing the autonomous driving and intelligent connectivity solutions and promoting the scale implementation of C-V2X-based IoV projects.

GOHIGH is a high-tech enterprise which has integrated data industry-related technologies, products and resources from Datang Telecom Technology & Industry Group. GOHIGH has been listed on Shenzhen Stock Market in 2003, and it is one of the two listed domestic companies of Datang Group.

According to GOHIGH's self-introduction, it started in 2012 the standard R&D of C-V2X technology (LTE-V2X and NR-V2X) with China’s proprietary intellectual property rights, and relevant product development and marketing promotion. Its major products include the automotive-grade modules based on the company's self-developed chips, OBU (on-board unit), RSU (road side unit), C-V2X cloud-based platform and CA Security Certification.

GOHIGH said it has to-day commercially deployed its technologies and applications in several domestic ICV demonstration zones and vehicle-road cooperation projects, and partnered with NavInfo to offer integral solutions of vehicle-road synergy to Fuzhou, Chongqing and other cities.
