Qualcomm deepens cooperation with PATEO for new smart cabin platform solution

Beijing (Gasgoo)- On June 7th, Qualcomm deepened the collaboration with PATEO to facilitate the mass production of the next-generation PATEO Qinggan intelligent cockpit platform solution.

Building on Qualcomm’s 4th Generation Snapdragon® Cockpit Platforms, the two companies will work on the development of automotive intelligence, smart car connectivity, Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), intelligent cockpit, and multi-domain fusion-based central controller.

As a key component to the Snapdragon Digital Chassis™, the 4th Generation Snapdragon® Cockpit Platforms bring automakers and Tier1 suppliers with the capability to redefine onboard experiences. The high-performance solution supports multiple electronic control units (ECUs) and a central processing unit (CPU) with multi-domain capability, offering bottom-layer performance support for SOA, system-on-chips (SoCs) and display screens, selective informational driver assistance system (ADAS), and smart cockpit. The product will enable the transformation of the next-generation intelligent connected vehicles’ electrical/electronic architecture to a zonal system computing architecture.

The partnership allows PATEO to give full play to its innovative capabilities and leverage its experiences accumulated working with the 3rd Generation Snapdragon Cockpit Platforms from Qualcomm to unleash the performance potential of the 4th Generation Snapdragon Cockpit Platforms, building a new-generation Qinggan intelligent cockpit platform solution.
